Cartoonists Day, Free Comic Book Day Share Same Date: May 5, 2007
Lovers of comic books, comic strips and all forms of cartooning will have two reasons to celebrate these art forms this year when Free Comic Book Day and Cartoonists Day fall on the same date: Saturday, May 5, 2007!
So we'd better get some respect for a change goddamnit!

Hey Bob I was wondering, when you wrote Stimpy's Invention, did you also come up with the Happy Happy Joy Joy song?
That's how life should be like if it made sense. If Matt Damon walked down the street, some people should aknowledge him. However, if you Bob or John K. walked down the street, either of you would have to run for your very lives. The hordes of screaming fans would rip you limb from limb ! The Paparazzi would hide in your bushes ! Only the bravest of men would have that occupation. Oh and btw, I didn't know national cartoonists day falls on same day as free comic book day. Thanks for the info !

I came up with the idea for a Happy Happy Joy Joy song but it was written and performed by John K. Chris Reccardi and Jim Smith among others.
