Benny & Dibbs

Here is an old one I did for a film concept I had while I was working at Marvel Comics.  They are a couple of stupid Indiana Jones types but are just petty thieves and always getting into trouble.
Here they steal a priceless Bugatti but only as a means to get away with the fat chicken they have stolen.

That is such a badass drawing. Also the guy on the car has really great balance.

One of my all time favorites.
The world needs a movie with these two guys.

Was this meant to be live-action or animated? Anyway, awesome drawing. I always love to see your work.

Hi Moke,
Thanks. Yeah the character, Dibbs, had been a circus acrobat.

Hey Vincent,
I was wondering if it should be a comic first.

Hi Weirdo,
It was meant to be an animated feature but I think it could be anything.

Hey Chris,
Yeah, I have lots of notes on these guys and I've been thinking about what to do with them.
Thanks!

Oops TYPO alert!
I wrote Moke instead of Mike.
Soooorrrry!

Doh....I'm afraid that one was destroyed by a leak in my Garage a few years ago.

Hey Vincent,
What are you talking about?

Oh sorry Bob, didn't mean to be cryptic. I thought you were referring to the pages of Benny and Dibbs I did way back when. They were destroyed by a leaky garage roof. Probably a good thing as I'm pretty sure they weren't so hot.

Yes, I think B&D would be great in a comic both to wet the whistle of those looking for expandable properties, and selfishly, I'd love to see you do more of these guys.
It would some jolly eye candy.
